Hair loss, whether from aging or medical conditions, can have an impact on a person’s self-esteem and how they feel about their overall appearance.
However, it isn’t something that you just have to live with. There are a number of hair replacement options that will help you regain a full head of hair, like FUE hair transplant in Malaysia.

What is FUE Hair Transplant

FUE, or Follicular Unit Extraction, is an advanced level of transplanting hair. It’s a treatment that uses your healthy hair follicles to help regrow hair in balding areas.
The FUE surgical procedure leaves no scarring, has a very low risk of complications. FUE hair transplants have become a more popular choice in hair replacement due to its extreme effectiveness.

Process of FUE Hair Transplant in Malaysia

The FUE procedure is carefully done to ensure the donor hair follicles are not damaged. Your hair will be cut to a 2 to 4mm length before the procedure takes place. You are then given a local anesthetic in the area where the hair follicles will be extracted. Individual hair roots are extracted manually using a specialized punch device to create grafts. This allows for the complete follicular unit, including the growth glands, to be removed from the donor area. Anywhere between 1,000 to 3,000 grafts are extracted. The grafts are closely examined and then stored in a nutrient-rich solution to ensure they do not die. These follicles are then surgically implanted into the balding areas of the scalp using a stereomicroscope. They are implanted in groups of 1 to 4 follicles to match how our hair grows naturally.
This technique ensures minimal trauma by separating the surrounding tissue from each group, lowering the risk of leaving detectable scars.

You will be able to see the results of the FUE hair transplant right after the procedure. The hair roots that have been transplanted will fully re-grow within six to twelve months, making your receding hairline or bald patch disappear. The results are permanent and will look completely natural.

Top Benefits of FUE Hair Transplant

FUE hair transplant have a lot of benefits. In comparison to other techniques, it is much more accurate and there is minimal scarring. There is also no need for stitches or long-term aftercare, very little pain post-op, with patients being able to return to their activities the next day. Because FUE doesn't leave any long lineal scars, you are able to have short hairstyles after your transplant. FUE also uses a significantly larger number of grafts than other treatments, with up to 70 hair graft units per square centimeter of scalp. FUE hair transplants are good for those whose balding areas will require a large number of follicle grafts.
